Well, this was an offer that doesn’t come along every day… This summer, I was invited to translate a massive cutting-edge multimedia opus for kids, to be performed in a travelling pyramid that doubles as a super-trippy nightclub! No, I still haven’t met Guy Laliberté, whose new company Lune Rouge is producing this whole PY1 experience. In fact, I still haven’t met anyone face-to-face! However, thanks to the wonders of the Internet, I was able to collaborate with writer/director Annie Grenier (a.k.a. Annie Brocoli, one of Québec’s most beloved children’s entertainers) on realizing one piece of her vision for Stella and the Time Machine Journey. I wish her and the team all the best with it. And man, I would work with her again in a heartbeat.
